Striping . . .

With the use of some painter’s tape, ruler, level and a lot of expertise, Dianne can transform an otherwise ordinary room into something spectacular. Color combinations, textures and stripe dimensions are almost limitless and customizable to your particular taste or decor.

Striping is a slightly more complex technique than most of the faux painting techniques. It requires some patience, but Dianne has perfected the technique.

In addition to color selections, there are several variations of textures available for painting stripes.

• using a tone-on-tone technique (subtle)
• using alternating stripes of flat/glossy finishes of the same color . . . very subtle and elegant (as in the photos to the right))

When Dianne finishes her magic, add some crown molding, chair rail, accessories and VOILA! . . . a veritable work of art!
